There are dozens of language schools in Antigua and after much research and deliberation, we decided to go with the best. And of course the best (cognitive dissonance notwithstanding) is Tecun Uman (please note the incorporation of shadow in the following photo - with our learned readership I know I am being blatantly obvious by indicating the homage to, yet modern interpretation of, chiaroscuro and the Italian Renaissance):

Well, I started there and then was moved (due to my exceptional behavior) to a more suitable location:
which is great except this is the view I have to stare at all morning:

and it is hard learning how much Spanish you don't know when you are watching Fuego erupt. Sigh.
