Two days ago, I showed you photos from the second floor balcony of the Ayantimento but it was cloudy so you couldn't really see the three volcanoes surrounding Antigua. The weather today is perfect so, with no thought to my personal safety or interests, I climbed back up to take more photos that show you the volcanoes. Up first is Agua which is due south:
Looking to the west, you can see Acatenango and Fuego. Acatenango is the taller one on the right in this photo:
Fuego maybe be the smallest of the three but it is the one that is active. Sure, we have shown you that before but who can get enough of erupting volcanoes?
